AR March 2021: Care + W Awards

From traditional structures of support that must be rebuilt, to those who have had to build their own, we consider care in all its forms. We understand care as elastic: deconstructing outmoded customs that can no longer care for us. The hands that restrain and keep us down, can also be taught to hold and to lift us up. In this month’s issue we consider care in the city, the institution, and in familial and non-familial structures. We also celebrate the W Awards, where we hope to redress historical imbalances in representation and recognise women’s global contribution to the profession
