Troyanovsky’s digitally fabricated adaptable house on wheels began as a shelter for at-risk youths
Created in collaboration with Youth Futures Inc and the University of Tasmania, Dmitry Troyanovsky’s microdwelling prototype proved popular enough to go into serial production. Since completion numerous requests have been made to allow for greater personal alterations, although the current 2D CAD production method offers little flexibility. Youth Futures have requested a more dynamic 3D model that will allow for quick, on the fly personal alterations prior to construction, allowing each dwelling to truly be its owner’s very own castle.
