Georgii Krutikov’s drawings depict a utopia where people work on the ground and live in the clouds

Georgii Krutikov’s 1928 graduation thesis ‘The Flying City’ proposed an endlessly mobile and plastic architecture that could adapt to the world around it. Draughted while a student at VKhUTEMAS, Moscow, his stunning drawings depict a utopia where people work on the ground and live in the clouds.
