Nice to meet you!

Hi there- welcome to my blog!  I’m Lucy- an architect in St. Louis renovating my “forever” home.  It is a mid-century modern fixer-upper built in 1966 in a lovely suburb with parks and walking trails and lots of wildlife.  The house is located in a quiet little neighborhood that quite honestly feels like a slice of heaven. 

About me--- I am a huge homebody and I enjoy making my house a home, whether through design, cooking, gardening, or simply housekeeping.  I prefer clean and minimal interiors but also appreciate a lived-in vibe through mixing old and new, high and low, modern and functional.  I purchased the home in 2020 and have been getting to know the house, the neighborhood, and precisely planning the improvements.  There won’t be much left that doesn’t get updated.  Follow along as I share tips on DIY projects, décor and design, and home organization, while providing a birds-eye view of the process along the way.  Subscribe to receive updates.  Next post--- the house.
